Refund Cancellation Policy

Refund Cancellation

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all requests for refunds and cancellations in connection with enrollment in the Agentic AI for Daily Work programme ("Programme") offered by The Cutting Edge Group Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). The Programme is hosted and delivered through TagMango, an independent third-party platform.

By completing your enrollment and making payment for the Programme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy in its entirety. This Policy forms part of the Company's Terms and Conditions and must be read in conjunction with the same.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to all fees paid for access to the Programme, including but not limited to course modules, live sessions, mentorship access, community access, session recordings, downloadable templates, assignments, resource materials, and all other content or deliverables provided as part of the Programme experience.

This Policy does not apply to payments made directly to TagMango for platform-level services. Any disputes relating to TagMango's platform charges must be addressed directly with TagMango in accordance with their own terms and refund policy.

2. General Position

All fees paid for the Programme are considered earned upon enrollment. The Company does not offer automatic or unconditional refunds. Refunds are discretionary and are subject to the eligibility conditions, review process, and timelines set out in this Policy.

The Company reserves the right to approve or reject any refund request in its sole and absolute discretion, based on the criteria described in this Policy. A refund request does not guarantee a refund.

3. Definitions

"Enrollment Date" means the date on which the student's payment is successfully processed and access to the Programme is activated on the TagMango platform.

"Refund Window" means the 15-calendar-day period after completion of 30 calendar days from the Enrollment Date. A valid refund request must be submitted within this period.

"Programme Content" means all modules, sessions, recordings, materials, templates, assignments, resources, and any other content or access made available to a student as part of the Programme.

"Eligible Refund Amount" means the amount paid by the student for the Programme, excluding any Goods and Services Tax ("GST") paid, any processing fees or convenience charges levied by the payment gateway or platform, and any applicable deductions referenced in this Policy.

4. Refund Eligibility

A student may submit a refund request only if all of the following conditions are satisfied:

  • The refund request is submitted within the Refund Window, being the 15-calendar-day period after completion of 30 calendar days from the Enrollment Date; and

  • The student has genuinely engaged with the Programme by completing Module 0 and Module 1 in full, representing at least the first tier of Programme content; and

  • The student has been enrolled and had access to the Programme for a minimum of 30 calendar days from the Enrollment Date; and

  • The student provides a valid reason for requesting a refund, subject to review and verification by the Company.

Both conditions in (b) and (c) above must be met. A student who has not completed Module 0 and Module 1 and who has not completed 30 days of access will not be eligible for a refund, regardless of the reason provided.

The rationale for requiring content engagement before a refund is to ensure that students have genuinely tried the Programme before exercising a refund right. Requests from students who have not engaged with the Programme content will not be entertained.

5. Refund Request Window

Refund requests may be submitted only after completion of 30 calendar days from the Enrollment Date. Requests must be submitted within the following 15-calendar-day Refund Window. Requests submitted after this window will not be accepted or reviewed under any circumstances, including where the student claims they were unaware of this Policy.

The Refund Window is strictly enforced. No exceptions will be made on grounds of personal circumstances, technical difficulties, or any other reason after this deadline has passed.

6. How to Submit a Refund Request

Refund requests must be submitted exclusively by email to support@thecuttingedge.academy. The email must include the following information:

  • Full name of the student as registered at the time of enrollment;

  • Email address used for enrollment;

  • Contact number registered at the time of enrollment;

  • Date of enrollment;

  • Proof of payment (payment confirmation, receipt, or transaction ID);

  • A clear and detailed reason for requesting the refund;

  • Screenshot or evidence of completion of Module 0 and Module 1.

Requests that do not include the information above may be returned to the student for completion. The Company will not be responsible for any delays caused by incomplete submissions. The Refund Window will continue to run irrespective of whether a submission was incomplete.

7. Refund Review Process

A refund request is not automatically approved. Upon receipt of a complete request, the Company will evaluate the following:

  • Whether the request falls within the Refund Window;

  • Whether the student has completed Module 0 and Module 1;

  • Whether the student has had access for at least 30 calendar days;

  • The student's overall engagement with the Programme, including session attendance, assignment submissions, community participation, and use of resources;

  • The reason provided for the refund request;

  • Whether the student has violated any part of the Company's Terms and Conditions, code of conduct, or community guidelines;

  • Whether the student has engaged in any misuse of Programme Content.

The Company may contact the student for additional information or documentation during the review process. Failure to respond within 7 business days of such a request may result in the refund application being closed.

The Company will communicate its decision to the student by email within 14 business days of receiving a complete and valid refund request.

8. Non-Eligibility for Refund

A refund will not be approved in any of the following circumstances:

  • The refund request is submitted after the expiry of the Refund Window;

  • The student has not completed Module 0 and Module 1 prior to submitting the request;

  • The student has not had access to the Programme for a minimum of 30 calendar days;

  • The student has misused, shared, copied, recorded, distributed, screenshotted, republished, or resold any Programme Content, access credentials, or resources;

  • The student has violated the Company's Terms and Conditions, code of conduct, or community guidelines;

  • The student has enrolled using a discounted, scholarship, or promotional fee and the specific offer terms exclude a refund right;

  • The student purchased through an installment or EMI arrangement and is seeking a refund of amounts already paid under that arrangement after the Refund Window has closed;

  • The student has initiated a payment dispute, chargeback, or reversal through their bank, card provider, or payment gateway without first following the refund process set out in this Policy;

  • The student provides false, misleading, or incomplete information in their refund request;

  • The student's access to the Programme has already been revoked by the Company due to a breach of terms prior to the refund request;

  • The refund request is made on behalf of the student by a third party without valid written authorisation from the enrolled student.

9. Approved Refund Amount and Processing

All payments for the Programme are collected exclusively through the TagMango platform. As a result, all approved refunds are also processed through TagMango's payment infrastructure. The Company does not collect or hold payments independently of TagMango.

If a refund request is approved, the Eligible Refund Amount will be processed as follows:

  • The Company will not apply any administration or processing deduction on its part to the Eligible Refund Amount;

  • GST paid at the time of enrollment is not refundable by the Company, as it is a statutory tax remitted to the Government of India. The refund will be of the base Programme fee only;

  • Any transaction charges, platform convenience fees, or payment processing fees levied by TagMango or its underlying payment gateway at the time of the original payment are non-refundable and will be excluded from the Eligible Refund Amount;

  • The Company will initiate the refund process through TagMango within 7 business days of approving a refund request. The actual credit to the student's account is subject to TagMango's payment processing timelines and may take an additional 5 to 14 business days depending on the student's bank or card provider. Any such delay is outside the Company's control;

  • The refund will ordinarily be credited to the original payment method used at the time of enrollment. Where this is not feasible due to technical or platform constraints, an alternative arrangement will be communicated to the student by email.

10. Installment and EMI Purchases

Students who have enrolled under an installment or EMI arrangement are subject to the same Refund Window calculated from the Enrollment Date, regardless of the payment schedule.

If a refund is approved for a student enrolled under an installment plan, the Eligible Refund Amount will be the total amount actually paid by the student up to the date of the approved refund, subject to the exclusions in Section 9. Future installments that have not yet been charged will be cancelled.

Refund requests made after the Refund Window has expired will not be accepted regardless of whether future installments are outstanding. Students are responsible for cancelling any standing instructions with their bank for future installment payments.

11. Discounted and Promotional Enrollments

Enrollments made at a discounted, promotional, or scholarship fee may be subject to specific terms communicated at the time of such offer. Where such terms explicitly exclude or modify the standard refund right, those specific terms will apply and will override the general provisions of this Policy.

If no specific refund terms were communicated at the time of a discounted enrollment, this Policy will apply in full.

12. Access Following Refund

Upon approval and processing of a refund, the student's access to the Programme and all associated resources, including the community, sessions, recordings, templates, and materials, will be immediately and permanently revoked.

The student must cease all use of Programme Content from the date of revocation. Any Programme Content downloaded, saved, or retained by the student prior to revocation must not be used, distributed, or reproduced in any form. The Company's intellectual property rights over all Programme Content are not affected by the issuance of a refund.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a student initiates a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute through their bank, card provider, or payment gateway without first submitting a refund request through the process described in this Policy, the Company reserves the right to:

  • Immediately revoke the student's access to the Programme pending resolution of the dispute;

  • Provide evidence of enrollment, access, and content delivery to the relevant payment institution in defence of the chargeback;

  • Decline any future enrollment by the student in any Company programme.

Students are strongly advised to contact the Company at support@thecuttingedge.academy before initiating any payment dispute. In many cases, a chargeback is unnecessary and can be resolved directly.

14. Automatic Refunds for Technical and Billing Errors

Notwithstanding the eligibility conditions in this Policy, the Company will initiate a full refund automatically in the following circumstances:

  • A duplicate payment has been made by the student for the same Programme enrollment through the TagMango platform;

  • A technical error on the part of the Company, TagMango, or the underlying payment gateway has resulted in an incorrect amount being charged to the student.

Since all payments are processed exclusively through TagMango, students who believe they have been incorrectly charged must notify the Company at support@thecuttingedge.academy within 7 calendar days of the charge. The Company will investigate the matter with TagMango and, if confirmed, process the refund within 7 business days of verification.

15. Cancellation of Programme Access by the Company

The Company reserves the right to revoke or cancel a student's access to the Programme without a refund in any of the following circumstances:

  • The student is found to have violated the Company's Terms and Conditions, code of conduct, or community guidelines;

  • The student has engaged in misuse, reproduction, redistribution, or commercialisation of Programme Content;

  • The student has provided false or fraudulent information at the time of enrollment or during any interaction with the Company;

  • The student's conduct poses a risk to other students, mentors, or the Company's reputation.

Where access is cancelled by the Company under this section, no refund will be issued.

16. Programme Modification and Discontinuation

The Company reserves the right to modify, update, restructure, or discontinue any part of the Programme at any time, including changes to module content, delivery format, session schedules, mentors, and platform features, without prior notice.

Such modifications will not constitute grounds for a refund unless the Programme is entirely and permanently discontinued by the Company after enrollment and no equivalent alternative is offered. In such a case, the Company will determine the appropriate remedy at its discretion.

Minor changes to content, scheduling, or delivery methods do not entitle a student to a refund.

17. Force Majeure

The Company will not be liable and no refund will be due in circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government action, regulatory intervention, platform outages attributable to TagMango or third-party infrastructure, natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or any other event that prevents or delays the delivery of the Programme.

The Company will use reasonable efforts to resume Programme delivery as soon as practicable following a force majeure event and may, at its discretion, offer affected students an extension of access in lieu of a refund.

18. TagMango as Exclusive Payment Platform

The Programme is hosted and delivered exclusively through the TagMango platform (tagmango.com). All enrollment fees are collected exclusively through TagMango's payment infrastructure. The Company does not accept payments through any other channel, platform, or method.

As the exclusive payment processor for Programme enrollments, TagMango operates as an independent entity with its own terms of service, privacy policy, and refund policy. Students are advised to review TagMango's policies at tagmango.com/refund-policy and tagmango.com/terms before enrolling.

The Company's refund obligations under this Policy are limited to the Programme fees paid by the student. The Company is not responsible for and has no control over TagMango's platform policies, payment processing timelines, technical outages, or any changes TagMango makes to its platform or fee structure.

Any refund request relating solely to a TagMango platform-level charge, subscription, or technical issue on TagMango's end must be directed to TagMango directly. The Company will not be able to process or resolve such requests on TagMango's behalf.

Where a student has paid for the Programme through TagMango and a refund is approved by the Company under this Policy, the Company will coordinate with TagMango to process the refund to the student. The student acknowledges that the final processing timeline is subject to TagMango's systems and procedures, and any delay on TagMango's part does not constitute a breach of this Policy by the Company.

19. Consumer Rights

This Policy does not limit or exclude any rights a student may have under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) and the rules thereunder. Where any provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right available to a student under applicable Indian law, the applicable law will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

Students who wish to raise a consumer complaint may do so through the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or by filing a complaint on the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission portal at edaakhil.nic.in.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy that cannot be resolved through correspondence shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.

21. Changes to This Policy

The Company reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on the Company's website and will be effective from the date of publication. It is the student's responsibility to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Programme following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

Changes to this Policy will not apply retrospectively to refund requests already submitted and under review at the time of the change.

22. Contact

For any questions regarding this Policy or to submit a refund request, students may contact the Company at:

Email: support@thecuttingedge.academy
